Joe, It's all about the truckers in my view. The DOT cops have gotten way out of line with the sort of tickets they issue to CDL drivers. They know that alot of their tickets can cost them their jobs and they still write them up, heartlessly. For example, how can you write a trucker a ticket for talking on a cell phone when he is sitting at a truck stop? There's no danger to the public. It's ridiculous. You can't take a job from a family provider like that. I will fight all such tickets to the bitter end. Hopefully, more traffic attorneys will begin to take the same view. We aim to please Erik. I handle all the actual court appearances, personally. I am a "hands on", "boots on the ground" attorney. Many tickets are complicated and cannot be resolved with a few phone calls, or, even a single court appearance. It is a part of my practice that I refuse to "delegate". He was very informative during our consultation and answered my questions, both over the phone and email. He was able to get my case into a Pre-trial Diversion Program! So once I paid my fine my case was dismissed.
